This notice explains, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), how we process personal data when you visit www.matgokim.com or contact us.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data processed

Identity data (name), contact data (e-mail, phone, address), customer transaction data (company, product interest, content of the enquiry), transaction security data (IP address, log records) and, for applicants, the data contained in CVs.

3. Purposes of processing

Answering enquiries and quotation requests, carrying out sales and contract processes, providing technical support, conducting recruitment processes, ensuring information security and fulfilling legal obligations.

4. Method of collection and legal grounds

Personal data is collected electronically through the website contact form, by e-mail and through server logs. It is processed on the basis of Article 5(2)(c) KVKK (necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract), Article 5(2)(ç) (compliance with a legal obligation) and Article 5(2)(f) (legitimate interests of the data controller). Google Maps is loaded only with your explicit consent, when you click “Load map” on the contact page; your IP address and other data are then transferred to Google (abroad).

5. Transfers

Personal data may be transferred to our hosting and IT service providers and to authorised public institutions where legally required. Since the website’s servers may be located abroad, transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with Article 9 KVKK.

6. Retention

Data is kept for as long as required by the purpose of processing and by the retention periods set out in the applicable legislation, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Server logs are kept for a short period (normally no more than 30 days); unsuccessful job applications are kept for no more than six months after the end of the process.

7. Your rights under Article 11 KVKK

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 KVKK; to request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred; to object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not use web analytics. Only technically necessary information (your confirmation of the cookie notice and, if selected, your language preference) is stored in your browser. Fonts are hosted on our own server.
